While there is some controversy in whether or not American showmen PT Barnum actually coined the phrase “There’s a sucker born every minute,” there is no doubt that the hair transplant industry recognizes that it rings true. Sadly, it appears that both physicians and consumers are experiencing the sting of feeling mislead by device manufacturers allegedly promising big bucks to novice surgeons and fuller, natural looking heads of hair to vulnerable ill-infomed patients.
