Dave Amaya's love for music is what originally got him interested in the world of radio. After receiving his Communication degree from UCLA in 1994, Amaya began working for The Robert W. Morgan Show on Los Angeles's own KRTH Radio. After a two year run Amaya was recruited by Westwood One Radio Networks to be the production engineer behind many well known nationally syndicated personalities, including JJ Jackson, Casey Kasem, John Tesh and Jed "the Fish". Shortly after joining Westwood One, Amaya was asked to do production for KLSX radio on the legendary Don Imus Show.
While still engineering some of the biggest shows in radio, Amaya was hired as production engineer for The Bald Truth. Today Dave Amaya is an associate producer of the show as well as a full time production coordinator and engineer.
Among the many highlights of his career, Dave has had the privilege to work with Dr. Martin Luther Kings daughter Yolanda King on her groundbreaking on air radio addresses.
Dave's hobbies include traveling, swimming, playing chess and busting chops.
