Spencer Kobren | How Hair Loss Colors Our lives

August 7, 2009 by The Bald Truth

No matter to what degree we deal with it, hair loss can effect every aspect of our lives.  Those who are lucky enough to escape hair loss will never fully understand its profound effect on the way we’re perceived by others, and the way in which we view ourselves.

Each week The Bald Truth touches on the subjects that other radio talk shows don’t have the courage to broach.  This week Spencer Kobren discuss the reality of hair loss and how the emotions of having  thinning hair still effects his 85 year old father.

Wow – that really hits the nail on the head…I am 32 and have battled harder than anyone I know to keep a relatively full head of hair, outlasting my brothers, but still losing the war slowly. Most people can’t see that I have a problem, but it is something that affects every day of my life. Thanks for being a clear voice in this difficult to navigate disease.
